Toro “Success Without Excess V” Get Smart to Water Smart Symposium, July 29, 2010.
RIVERSIDE, CA - (June 18, 2010) Toro’s fifth annual “Success Without Excess” WaterSmart Event will focus on Get Smart to Water Smart educational topics related to improving the irrigation efficiency of commercial systems. The symposium will be held at the Toro Irrigation headquarters in Riverside, CA on July 29, 2010.
“The focus of the irrigation industry continues to intensify on water availability and cost issues,” says Mike Baron, national specifications manager for water management products for Toro Irrigation. “Now, more than ever, commercial irrigation consumers need to be knowledgeable about legislation, watering restrictions, tiered water rates, increasing water bills, advanced irrigation technologies and the water management practices of their landscape contracting companies all while facing ever-tightening budgets.”
This symposium is an opportunity for commercial property managers, HOA landscape and irrigation committee members, building owners and local city officials to learn what they need to know to make informed procurement decisions that deliver real returns on their irrigation system investments while improving the health and appearance of their landscapes.
Held during the Irrigation Association’s Smart Irrigation Month, the 2010 WaterSmart symposium has also invited irrigation consultants and water purveyors to present practical and actionable information that will make a real difference.
